The beginning of Qasr ElKbabgi dates back to the year 2018 in the city of Tanta, as a response to our observation of the Egyptian restaurant scene's need for a new approach that combines the elegance of the venue with the provision of genuine quality and service for Eastern Food in general, and Egyptian Food in particular. The vision of Mr. Ahmed El-Baz (businessman and chairman of the board of Qasr ElKbabgi restaurants) to make a breakthrough in the Eastern Food sector in Egypt stemmed from his consideration as a lover and connoisseur of Egyptian food. His ability to make a difference was rooted in the understanding that the discerning public's needs are best known by someone with a refined taste and a genuine love for Eastern cuisine.
